Doors open at 6.00pm
The Classic Georgian Dish Khinkhali will be available to make through out the evening.
A variety of traditional Georgian Dishes will also be available to buy. A huge thank you to Keti Maghlakelidze from the Caucasian Spice Box for coming all the way up from Reading to enable the citizens of Wakefield to have access to this incredible food.
Georgian Red Wine will be available to buy through out the evening. A big shout out to the International Market under the West Gate Railway Bridge for sorting all this out!
6pm – 6.45pm – A writing workshop with Valerie Anderson Gaskill, local writer and poet to produce a companion poem for one of the poems in Nino’s Song.
6.45 pm – Performace of Poetry by participants and Sarah Leah Cobham.
7.10pm – A Georgian Singing Workshop with Louise Curtis Streich, of Hot Banana Music Shop in Holmfirth. Followed by a performance of the workshop song.
8.00pm The stunning song Shen Khar, sung by Louise, Sarah Leah and Sarah followed by readings from Nino’s Song with Sarah Leah Cobham followed by a Q & A
8.30 Book Signings
8.45 Georgian Songs performed by Hot Banana Community Choir
Diane Elizabeth Hall of The Writing Hall will be available through out the evening for anyone wishing to find out more about the process of Self or Independent Publishing.
A short film will be being made of this event.
